1. Anything we said 6 months ago is inadmissible in an argument. In fact, all comments become Null and void after 7 Days.

1. If you think you’re fat, you probably are. Don’t ask us.

1. If something we said can be interpreted two ways and one of the ways makes you sad or angry, we meant the other one.

1. You can either ask us to do something …Or tell us how you want it done, not both.  If you already know best how to do it, just do it yourself.

1. Whenever possible, Please say whatever you have to say during commercials.

1. Christopher Columbus did NOT need directions and neither do we.

1. ALL men see in only 16 colors, like Windows default settings. Peach, for example, is a fruit, not A color. Pumpkin is also a fruit. ; We have NO idea what mauve is.

1. If it itches, it will be scratched. We do that.

1. If we ask what is wrong, and you say ‘nothing;’ we will act like nothing’s wrong. We know you are lying, but it is just not worth the hassle.

1. If you ask a question you don’t want an answer to, expect an answer you don’t want to hear.

1. When we have to go somewhere, absolutely anything you wear is fine…. Really!

1. Don’t ask us what we’re thinking about unless you are prepared to discuss such topics as baseball or golf.

1. You have enough clothes.

1. You have too many shoes.

1. I am in shape. Round IS a shape!

1. Thank you for reading this. Yes, I know I have to sleep on the couch tonight;  But did you know men really don’t mind that?  It’s like camping.

What can you learn about MLM from watching American Idol?

          Sounds crazy, I know, but it’s true… you really can learn a lot about MLM from watching American Idol.  Don’t have a clue what I am talking about?  Well, consider this!

          American Idol is the most popular show on T.V… Why? Could it be Ryan Seacrest’s perfectly coifed head? Could it be Simon Cowell’s tiny black t-shirts? What about the crazy people who think they can sing; but really sound like a cat in distress? Or could it be that America’s favorite show holds little nuggets of knowledge for the home based business owner?  Hmmm…

          A.I. Rule #1: In the words of a song “Keep on Pushing!”

          Have you ever seen an audition with someone who has a horrible voice but they just keep singing anyway? Simon tries to stop them and Randy tells them “it just wasn’t good, dog” but they still keep going, and going, and going.

          Ok, ok I know it’s really annoying on the show; but, in life, that is exactly what you have to do. Keep on singing, or prospecting; no matter what. You might have to hear a hundred no’s, but if  you will keep on marketing, the yes’s will come!

          A.I. Rule #2: The world is full of Simons (Dr No’s)

          He might be mean and nasty, but he’s always going to be on the show; and, trust me, there are a lot of Simons out there! People are always going to tell you you’re crazy when you first get started in a home based business.  It’s just a fact of life. Ignore them and move on. Remember for every Simon (Dr No!) there is always a Paula (Dr Yes!).

          A.I. Rule #3: You gotta stand up, and stand out!

          Boring people never make it on American Idol. Even if they are really talented, and have great voices; if you’re dull you’re probably not going to make it past the first audition. If you really want to succeed in a home based business you’re going to have to learn to stand out. You, yourself, are a unique individual; one of a kind …and you must emphasize and exploit your uniqueness (like Norman – on this season of American Idol). Your uniqueness is your own distinct BRAND…like Tiger (Woods), (Michael) Jordan & Oprah (Winfrey).  

          A.I. Rule #4: Don’t be a “Great Pretender”

          You don’t have to pretend to be someone else to have success. You can have success in any business as long as you’re the best version of  yourself that you can be. The voters, um I mean prospects, can always spot a fake, and nobody likes a phony. Be for real; in the words of another popular song, “Respect Yourself!“

Every one is NOT an internet mogul, raking in gazillions of dollars.

After all, somebody is investing heavily in their massive success; sometimes to your own hurt. Especially if you can’t use, or don’t know how to apply,  what you are  buying.

So if  your personal budget still has limitations, and constraints; at the end of the day, week, or month,   allow me to share this sober reflection on how to better manage the resource you do have; discovered on America’s Digital Goddess-Kim Komando’s Newsletter; listed as a Cool Site For The Day.
